All of human endeavor can be summarized as a search for individual significance. No matter the role or position in society, in however small a way, we all want to be good at something, better at this or that, more educated, more successful, more influential, and more liked and respected. Without this, nothing would ever be accomplished.

This does not have to egoistic or prideful, and many people find their significance in helping others, giving things away, and making a difference in the world. At the core, this is what fulfills them, and the world is better for it.

The Impact Exchange is about providing opportunities for people to be significant, and their companies as well. It is challenging in this technological world we live in, but possible, provided we always remember the human factor in our plans and projects. If we create jobs that give dignity, build technical solutions that increase a company's capabilities, or bring life-changing opportunities to those who are looking for them, then I will be fulfilled.
